Don Kennedy, founder & co-owner of Sounds of the Rockies, had been a part of the industry for many years.  As a truly business savvy individual, he decided that he needed to raise the industry standards by making a full-time, quality, service oriented company - performing each event in a professional & tasteful manner. He began Sounds of the Rockies with personal customer service & options in mind. Sounds of the Rockies quickly became a well known,referred & highly requested DJ & Entertainment Service Company in Colorado for Weddings, Corporate Events, School Dances, Sweet 16s, Municipal Events, Special Events, Private Parties & More! 

Through the years, we noticed that the needs and desires of our clients grew!  One by one, each new company was formed in order to accommodate our clients request with a ONE STOP SHOP for all of their entertainment needs.  ONE contract, ONE contact – Trusted results!  Colorado Casino Nights, GO NUTS Green Screen Photo Booths and AIRBOUND, Play In Another World came together with Sounds of the Rockies to form SOUNDS OF THE ROCKIES ENTERTAINMENT GROUP!  

In 2014, Sounds of the Rockies Entertainment Group acquired & restructured PURE ENERGY EVENTS into our family of companies to now offer our clients more exclusive lighting options, décor, furniture, fabric draping and more!  We now bring you FULL event entertainment and premier event production services – or, more “easily” referred to as COLORADO EVENT PRODUCTIONS!
